Studio Job brings together two free spirits, Job Smeets and Nynke Tynagel, renowned for their rebellious, non-conformist way of creating a unique world. The design duo have created the Blow collection for Seletti: wacky items, inspired by hyper-realism and Pop Art. These very colourful folding chairs are decorated with quirky, unconventional patterns: peace & love, a cannabis leaf, a sensual mouth, a fried egg, a big hot dog, a superheroes' lightning bolt and hemp leaves. There is no hesitation about mixing the different patterns around the table, like an art gallery. These folding chairs have a PVC padded seat and backrest. The structure is made of metal. Not very cumbersome once folded, it is easily stored away without taking up space. It is both comfortable and light and will be perfect for welcoming last minute guests.
I love this funky chair for its bold, playful design that instantly injects personality into any space. Its colourful, padded seat and backrest make it surprisingly comfortable, while the tongue-inspired motif adds an element of humour and visual interest. It works well in eclectic or contemporary interiors, especially when paired with minimalist or neutral tables to let the chair stand out. Practical styling tips include placing it as an accent piece around a simple dining table, or using a few as statement chairs in a relaxed, informal dining area. Its vibrant colour palette also makes it versatile to team with other colourful accessories or art, creating a lively, inviting atmosphere.
