I’m a fan of the mirror-ball pendant for its clean, reflective finish and geometric simplicity - it instantly becomes a focal point without overwhelming a room. Its polished chrome works particularly well in modern, Scandi or industrial-inspired interiors, where you want a touch of shine and sculptural interest.
For styling, hang two or three spheres at staggered heights above a dining table or in an entryway to maximise their reflective appeal. Keep surrounding décor pared-back and in neutral tones so the lights can bounce colour and movement around the space. A dimmer switch will also help you set different moods through subtle shifts in glow.

Tom Dixon isn't your typical designer. Starting as the bass guitarist for Funkapolitan, a twist of fate led him to the world of design after a series of motorbike accidents.
By the 1980s, he was gaining recognition with pieces like the iconic "S' chair for Italian giant Cappellini. By the 90s, his creativity brought him to the forefront of British design, even rejuvenating the Habitat brand.
But it wasn't until 2002 that the Tom Dixon brand was established, with its base in London's King's Cross. The brand, known for pioneering lighting, furniture, and accessories, quickly gained international acclaim and is now represented in 90 countries.
