Description
A large round chandelier, featuring two Melt and three Melt Mini pendant lights in a modern Smoke finish. Featuring our intergrated LED module, this ceiling light creates a mesmirizing melting hot-blown glass effect when on and a mirror-finish effect when off. Made in Germany using a high tech manufacturing technique to achieve the perfect melted orb.

I’m a big fan of the Melt smoke pendants for the way their fluid, mirrored glass forms catch and scatter light without being overly ornate. They work particularly well in high-ceiling, contemporary spaces - think open-plan kitchens or loft-style living rooms - where you can hang a cluster at staggered heights to create a dynamic focal point.
Keep styling simple: group three or five pendants over a long dining table or island, pair with a dimmer switch for mood control, and balance the reflective surfaces against matte finishes like concrete or oak. In a minimalist scheme, the subtle smoke tint adds depth without overwhelming the palette.

Tom Dixon isn't your typical designer. Starting as the bass guitarist for Funkapolitan, a twist of fate led him to the world of design after a series of motorbike accidents.
By the 1980s, he was gaining recognition with pieces like the iconic "S' chair for Italian giant Cappellini. By the 90s, his creativity brought him to the forefront of British design, even rejuvenating the Habitat brand.
