Design. This stylish Spitfire Coffee Table is part of Timothy Oultons Stonyhurst Collection which is an adaptation of the Ampleforth range. Stonyhurst similarly transforms Timothy Oulton's travel-inspired trunks into functional furniture, though this collection truly pushes the boundaries in terms of fabrication. While preserving all the hallmarks of traditional craftsmanship in its construction and detailing, the collection experiments with a range of innovative finishes including the brand's celebrated 'Spitfire' finish, as well as 'Kilim', which employs an ancient weaving technique that is hand loomed and takes up to three months to complete.

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.
Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.
