The timber is carefully charred by hand to highlight the authentic grains and one of a kind grooves, and then suspended within liquid acrylic for an immensely tactile experience.

I’m a big fan of the Spur side table for its unexpected mix of charred timber slivers set in clear resin - it feels modern without losing warmth. It works just as well in a minimalist Scandi scheme as it does in a loft-style living room or a pared-back bedroom.
Styling tip: use it as a bedside or lamp table and keep the top simple - a slim metal lamp and a small stack of art books will let the table’s texture do the talking. Pair it with soft linens or a fluffy rug to balance the hard edges and echo the natural wood tones elsewhere in the room.
