This trendsetting 1.2m sintered stone dining table is set off by fashionable diagonal criss cross markings. The sturdy 12mm thick ceramic table top comes in an attractive reflective finish. Completed by stylish black powder coated metal X-frame legs. Assembly required. Sold individually.

I’m a fan of the Timor table for its clean lines and slim metal legs - the matt grey top works equally well in Scandi, industrial or pared-back modern schemes. At 1.2 metres it’s perfect for a smaller dining area or kitchen breakfast spot, seating four without dominating the space.
For styling, keep the tabletop uncluttered: a simple linen runner and low ceramic vase with seasonal foliage will add warmth without distraction. Mix in natural textures - think rattan chairs or leather-topped stools - and tuck a slim bench beneath when extra seating’s needed. Soft, muted cushions and brass-toned candleholders will bring subtle contrast and cohesion.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
