Description

If you are looking for a plant for a slightly darker corner of your home, then this Dracaena Burley Head measuring 40-45cm total height is for you. This plant copes well in low light levels but will also thrive in a brighter spot. With those bold yellow and green leaves, this plant loves to be the centre of attention and has got what it takes to pull it off. This big house plant is just fabulous to look at and is super low-maintenance too. Watering once every 2-3 weeks and giving those leaves a dust occasionally will keep him happy, he doesn’t need much TLC. H60 x W36 x D35 cm Please note: This plant and basket will come in separate boxes, you simply drop the plant in its growing pot, into the basket and it is ready for its forever home! The basket is sized to allow the growth of the plant. Dracaenas like a slightly shady spot in your home. Do not place your plant in direct sunlight or the leaves could scorch. A cupful of water once every 10-14 days and only once the soil is dry on top. Remove any brown leaves to encourage new growth. Check the soil regularly, Dracaena’s don’t fare well if they are overwatered. Don’t forget to keep them out of draughts and away from radiators. They’ll thrive in medium light and high humidity. Caring for your plant Always follow the attached care instructions. Whilst this will give your plants the best chance of thriving, environmental factors will also play a big impact on your plant's life span such as exposure to sun and humidity. Please note: As plants are a live product, the dimensions and images provided are estimates only as each plant is unique. Refund policy We can't offer refunds or exchanges on perishable goods such as flowers and food, unless faulty or not as described. Find out more. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Our Stylist Says

The little dracaena in the belly basket is a versatile and low-maintenance option for injecting a touch of greenery into any space. I love it for its realistic appearance and smooth integration into both modern and rustic interiors. It works well as a focal point on sideboards, console tables, or even in bathroom spaces where natural light is limited. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral and textured accessories to enhance its natural vibe, or grouping with other faux botanicals for a layered, curated look. The basket itself adds warmth and an organic feel, making it perfect for casual and eclectic schemes-plus, it requires no watering or sunlight, making it ideal for busy households or offices.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
