Description
A mix of cane panelling and sand-blasted solid oak creates a curved silhouette, with seat and bolster cushions fully upholstered in washed linen for added comfort. Inspired by the natural finishes seen in and around Soho House Barcelona, the Sydney wraparound armchair is made from sand-blasted solid oak fitted with cane panelling. Its removable seat and bolster cushions are fully upholstered in washed linen in a choice of bespoke colours from our made-to-order palette.

I’m a fan of the Sydney chair in ochre linen because its warm tone and pared-back frame slot straight into both Scandi-influenced and mid-century spaces. The natural wood detailing and neutral upholstery make it easy to layer contrasting textures - think a chunky wool throw in slate grey or a jute rug underneath to ground the look.
For styling, angle the chair slightly towards a sofa to create a conversation nook, and add a lumbar cushion in a bold print for extra character. It also holds up well in more eclectic or boho schemes when paired with rattan side tables and a few potted plants to soften the lines.
