The legendary French designer Pierre Paulin originally designed the PACHA lounge chair for the garden in 1975. Paulin designed the chair in line with the changing design style of his time, replacing the strictness of post-war design with a new, dynamic approach. Paulin managed to give the rounded shapes of the lounge chair real elegance. He achieved this through the perfect alignment of the proportions, a subtle lift at the base and the carefully placed, inwardly rolled seams in the foam and cover. Comfort was always the starting point for Paulin's designs. The curved, playful and organic shapes of the PACHA chair are designed to serve the body and offer both comfort and cosiness. Today, PACHA looks just as contemporary as it did at its inception. It's an honest, functional piece of furniture that adds life and character to any interior. Made in Europe
