This modern storage bench combines practicality and style for entryways, hallways, bedrooms, or living areas. Featuring a padded, removable grey fabric seat cushion, it provides a comfortable spot to sit while putting on or taking off shoes. The unit includes two spacious fabric baskets on either side—designed to pull out fully—for storing shoes, linens, toys, or seasonal items. In the centre, two smooth-opening white drawers with silver metal handles offer secure storage for smaller essentials such as keys, shoe care products, or accessories. Constructed from MDF/fiberboard with fabric-covered elements, the bench has a clean, contemporary look that complements a wide range of interior styles. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
