Description

Curl up in supreme cosiness with the super-comfy Afton Electric Recliner chair. Featured in our Premier collection, this power recliner has a useful USB port for easy charging of your phone or tablet. Covered in brand-new technology fabric with a highly durable, leather-like finish, the upholstery has the luxurious warmth and softness of the fabric. Recline and put your feet up with complete ease by pushing the two-button control on the side of your chair. Enjoy full chaise seating, superior lumbar support and soft comfy armrests with deep foam padding. With a handy drinks holder and side pocket for magazines, books and smart devices, this is the ultimate way to relax.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the charcoal electric recliner for its simple lines, built-in USB port and easy auto-recline - it feels at home in both contemporary and Scandi settings. The muted grey fabric pairs well with pale woods and black metal, so you can slot it effortlessly into a minimalist living room or a cosy home-cinema corner. For styling, leave a clear run for the footrest when it’s fully extended, then add a textured wool throw over one arm and a slim, lumbar cushion to bring in a touch of pattern. Flank it with a slim-leg side table and an arc floor lamp to create a practical reading nook without overwhelming the space.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
