Description

Simplistic in design with a contemporary style, the Staten Low Bookcase will add a stunning industrial look to any living and dining area. Constructed from a black coated metal frame, complemented by a striking concrete effect tops, to create a very stylish, modern product. Part of the Julian Bowen Staten Dining and Occasional Collection.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Staten low bookcase because of its sleek, industrial vibe that works well in a variety of interiors, from modern urban spaces to more minimalist, Scandinavian-inspired rooms. The concrete shelves paired with the black frame add a touch of raw, architectural style that’s easy to incorporate as a statement piece or as a subtle organisational element. When styling, consider balancing the sturdy, industrial look by mixing in soft textures-like cosy throws or woven baskets-and greenery to add warmth. It’s practical for displaying curated accessories, artworks, or books, and its clean lines help keep a space feeling organised without appearing cluttered. Perfect for bedrooms, living rooms, or even home offices where a utilitarian but stylish touch is wanted.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
