Description
Simplistic in design with a contemporary style, the Staten Tall Bookcase will add a stunning industrial look to any living and dining area. Constructed from a black coated metal frame, complemented by a striking concrete effect tops, to create a very stylish, modern product. Part of the Julian Bowen Staten Dining and Occasional Collection.

I’m a fan of the Staten bookcase for its mix of raw-concrete-effect shelves and slim black frame - it brings just enough industrial edge without feeling heavy. It slips straight into modern, Scandi or loft-style spaces and works equally well in a hallway, home office or living room.
To style it, alternate books laid horizontally and vertically, tuck a couple of small potted plants or sculptural ceramics between them, and add a woven basket on the bottom shelf to hide clutter. Keep plenty of negative space so each object can stand out, and introduce a single accent colour (say, a muted terracotta or deep green) via a vase or picture frame for cohesion.
