Description
Upgrade your dining space with the Southampton rectangular dining table, a perfect mix of style and everyday practicality. Imagine this: hosting a taco night where everyone’s vying for the last guac, an impromptu wine-and-cheese session with friends, or even turning it into your temporary office with your laptop, three coffee mugs, and a notebook sprawled across its sleek ceramic top. With a creamy ceramic surface featuring natural veining and a warm smoked oak veneer base, this oak rectangle dining table blends effortlessly into any setting. Whether you’re sprucing up a full dining room or upgrading a cosy breakfast corner, its clean, minimalist design adds a touch of Scandinavian chic without trying too hard. Plus, it’s tough enough to handle real life, think hot pans, messy crafts, and whatever chaos kids bring to the table. Why You’ll Love It
Our Stylist Says
The Southampton dining table is a great choice for those seeking a versatile and durable piece. Its cream ceramic surface offers a sleek, contemporary look that easily complements both neutral and pastel palettes, making it ideal for modern, Scandi, or even more traditional interiors with a fresh twist. I love how practical it is-especially for family meals or entertaining-thanks to its wipe-clean finish. To style around it, consider adding varied textures with soft fabric chairs or a statement centrepiece, but keep accessories minimal to preserve its clean aesthetic. This table works particularly well in open-plan spaces or dining areas with plenty of natural light, creating a welcoming and practical hub for everyday living.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
