This table lamp emits a soft, harmonious and pleasant light that is mainly directed downwards. Poul Henningsen used his well-known three-shade system as the basis for this lamp. He designed this system in 1925 with the aim of giving attractive, glare-free light a shape. The first lamp to use this three-shade system was developed in collaboration with Louis Poulsen. The lamp has a toggle switch on the cable with which it can be switched on and off. Made in Denmark Craftsmanship: this product is mouth-blown and may therefore differ from the illustrations. Each piece is one of a kind!
I love the small mouth-blown table lamp for its clean, sculptural silhouette, making it an ideal addition to both modern and minimalist interiors. Its glass construction adds an element of craftsmanship and sophistication, while the neutral tones make it versatile enough to complement various colour palettes. It's perfect for side tables, desks, or bedside stacks, where its compact size won’t overwhelm but will provide a warm, ambient glow. To style it effectively, consider pairing with other glass or metal accents and keeping surrounding surfaces uncluttered to highlight its architectural form. Practical tips include using a dimmer for adjustable lighting and positioning it where the light can be appreciated both as a task light and decorative piece.
