Description

Abalone shells such as this one have been traditionally used for burning Palo Santo for generations. Palo Santo wood is a popular choice for smudging, helping to clear and neutralise energy from both people and spaces. Place a lit stick of palo santo in the shell and let it slowly burn, releasing smoke to cleanse the room. Please note that as this is a natural product the dimensions may vary slightly from those shown. This item should never be left unattended whilst burning smudge.

Our Stylist Says

I love this little abalone shell for adding a natural, textured element to various interiors. Its multicolour sheen makes it versatile, working well in coastal, bohemian, or modern schemes, especially when paired with other natural materials like wood or linen. It's perfect for use as a practical holder for palo santo sticks or incense, but also functions beautifully as a decorative object on shelves or coffee tables. For a stylish display, consider grouping it with other sculptures or arranging it near candles or greenery to highlight its iridescent qualities. Its compact size makes it ideal for smaller spaces, adding a subtle yet eye-catching touch to your styling.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
