Description

Rich toned reclaimed teak adds a sophisticated edge to the reeded design of this smart media unit. Designed to coordinate with the matching sideboard, the rounded unit offers two concealed storage areas as well as a central shelving space, complete with access holes for wiring. The floating top and matte black accents add a contemporary edge to this statement piece.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the slatted unit because it brings texture and warmth without feeling bulky. Its dark timber slats and slim metal legs suit Scandi, mid-century and industrial schemes alike, and the central open shelf is perfect for a soundbar or console while hiding cables behind the louvred doors. For styling, keep the top surface clear of clutter - think one or two low accessories such as a shallow tray or sculptural vase, plus a trailing plant to soften the edges. In the open compartment, stack a few coffee-table books or a small basket for remotes. Above the unit, hang a couple of simple botanical prints or a single wider mirror to balance the proportions.

Origins and Evolution

Fast forward to today, and they're stationed in Frome, Somerset, having evolved from tiny decorative trinkets to an expansive range of stylish furniture and more.

Globe-Trotting for the Perfect Piece

The team at Cox & Cox have a knack for hunting down unique pieces. They travel around the globe, exploring markets, meeting artisans, and diving into the world of design.

Out of the hundreds of items they come across, they meticulously select those that align with their ethos high-quality, functional, and stylish. And, with their offerings split into six distinct trends, they've got a bit of inspiration for every kind of home lover.
