I’m a fan of this oak wall shelf for its straightforward, sturdy design and the warm tones of natural-finish solid oak. Its slim, modular frame suits Scandinavian, mid-century modern or contemporary farmhouse settings, and at 90 cm wide it’s equally at home in a hallway, home office or above a sofa without overwhelming the room.
For styling, mix a handful of books (spines in harmonious tones) with a small plant on one level and a sculptural object or ceramic vase on another, keeping plenty of negative space so it doesn’t look cluttered. If you need extra storage, tuck a low wicker basket on the bottom shelf. The FSC Mix Credit oak also means you’re choosing a more sustainable option.
