I’m a fan of the Sitra shelf for its straightforward, clean-lined design and warm oak finish - it slots neatly into Scandi-inspired, minimalist or contemporary schemes without feeling fussy. At 110 cm high, it’s tall enough to make an impact but slim enough even for tighter hallways, home offices or living rooms.
To style it, alternate rows of books (organised both vertically and horizontally) with simple accessories - think a mix of small potted plants, woven baskets and a few cherished ceramics. Keep one shelf relatively clear to give the eye a rest, and aim for balance by repeating a colour or material across different levels rather than crowding a single tier.
