**About Sophie Berger** Living in a remote village on Dartmoor, Sophie spends her time in the vast empty expanse of the moors or on the coast, sketching in charcoal and coloured ink and then using these to influence her oil paintings back at her studio. The landscape and environment are a huge influence, both directly as well as subconsciously. It has allowed Sophie to develop a love for places and things that would otherwise have gone unnoticed.
