Our Stylist Says
I love these touch-operated lamps for their sleek chrome finish and classic white pleat shades, making them a versatile choice for both modern and traditional interiors. They work beautifully on bedside tables, sideboards, or even as additional task lighting in living rooms due to their easy-to-use touch activation. For styling tips, pair them with neutral or monochrome palettes to highlight their elegant finish, or add a pop of colour nearby for contrast. Their simple yet sophisticated design makes them adaptable to various schemes, from contemporary minimalism to cosy vintage-inspired spaces, while their practical touch control means you can switch them on and off effortlessly without fumbling for a switch.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
