Our Stylist Says
I love the set of two lamps because their satin brass finish adds a touch of elegance and warmth, making them versatile for various interiors. The Toucan velvet shades introduce a playful yet sophisticated element, perfect for bringing character to living rooms, bedrooms, or a stylish study. They work particularly well in contemporary spaces that could benefit from a hint of nature-inspired detail, or in eclectic schemes where contrasting textures add interest. For styling, consider pairing these lamps with muted or deep-toned furniture to let their brass finish and vibrant shades stand out. Practical tips include placing them on side tables or consoles where their statement shades can be appreciated, and ensuring the cords are discreetly managed for a clean look.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
