Product Details • 100% wool • Craftsmanship: hand woven • Weight: 2500g/m² • Thickness: Flat woven • Contrasting border • Fringed finish at the ends. Quality Info • Wool is a warm and comfortable fibre. In addition to being hard-wearing, the wool carpet is also an excellent thermal and sound insulator. Care Advice • Some materials such as wool are very fibrous and you can actually observe a piling during the first weeks of use: this is a normal for this type of product and is not a defect. Remove the excess fibres by hand where possible, do not use a vacuum cleaner with a rotating brush as this can pull and tear the fibres. The pilling will improve over time. • We advise you to vacuum it very little the first month and then to vacuum it without rubbing too much always without using the brush. • Remove any stains immediately with a clean, damp cloth. • Dry clean recommended. Sizes • Width 120 x Length 180cm • Width 160 x Length 230cm • Width 200 x Length 290cmDelivery:. This product will be delivered directly to your door. • OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. Our Stylist Says

I love this handwoven wool rug for its textural appeal and versatile colour palette, which makes it suitable for both modern and traditional interiors. Its fringed edges add a relaxed, cosy feel, while the neutral tones help anchor a space without overwhelming it. This rug works well in living rooms or bedrooms where you want to introduce warmth and tactile interest. For styling, consider layering it over a plain coloured flooring or pairing with natural fibres and other textiles for a layered, inviting look. Practical tips include keeping it clean with gentle vacuuming to maintain its quality and ensuring it’s placed on a flat surface to prevent uneven wear. It’s an excellent choice for creating a laid-back, stylish foundation in a variety of interior styles.

About La Redoute

Founded in 1837, La Redoute brings French-inspired style and elegance to your home. From trendy pieces to enduring essentials, La Redoute provides options to create a stylish and inviting space.

A Legacy of French Fashion

La Redoute has been around for 180 years. It started as a place that made wool products and grew into a popular online store for home and fashion items from France.

They've always tried to bring the unique French style to everyone and have changed with the times, especially in understanding the changing roles of women. For them, it's not just about selling products; it's about celebrating the art of everyday living and the quintessential French "je ne sais quoi".

Sustainability and Environmental Consciousness

La Redoute's commitment to the environment and sustainability is unwavering. They have taken commendable steps like joining the Better Cotton Initiative and ensuring their paper stock comes from sustainably-managed forests.

As a proud member of the Fur Free Retailer Program, they stand against the use of real fur and certain other materials, showcasing their concern for animal well-being.

Their transportation choices, too, echo their eco-conscious ethos. By using means like barges and trains, they actively reduce CO2 emissions, highlighting their drive to make choices beneficial for the planet.

Championing Social Responsibility

Beyond its fashion-forward vision, La Redoute actively champions societal values. Their signature on the UN's Global Compact underscores their commitment to sustainable development.

They take pride in being accessible to all, with their website catering to both the hearing and visually impaired. Moreover, La Redoute's dedication to social causes is evident in their support for equal opportunities, their stand against violence towards women through partnerships like Solfa, and their endeavours to empower employees, fostering a culture of responsible entrepreneurship.
