Our Stylist Says
I love this piece because of its rustic charm and versatile design; the distressed waxed pine gives it a timeless, lived-in appeal that works well in both traditional and contemporary spaces. It's ideal for adding storage without overwhelming a room-perfect for hallways, living rooms, or even dining areas. For styling, consider pairing it with natural textures like woven baskets or greenery to highlight its organic finish. Practical tips include using the top surface to display a few carefully chosen accessories or plants, while the drawers and cabinets provide ample space for organisers. Keeping it simple and understated allows the wood’s character to shine through, making it a great focal point that adds warmth and texture to your interior.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
