They’re also a great choice for allergy sufferers as the soft knitted covers are infused with Purotex®, which releases friendly bacteria to combat dust mites and other allergens, and Adaptive®, which quickly evaporates moisture for cooler and drier sleeping comfort. The handcrafted, British-made mattress is 34 cm deep and features a luxurious pillow top, zoned foam, 2200 pocket springs in king size – 1400 super strong springs plus 800 individually-responsive mini springs – and rejuvenating Geltex, a breathable gel-infused foam for pressure-relieving support. Springs are encased in Unirail for edge to edge support. The cover is infused with Purotex® to banish allergens, and Adaptive® which helps wick moisture away faster for a cooler and drier sleeping environment. Product images are representative. Find out more. Did you know?. The mattress should be aired for four hours after delivery to freshen and remove any aroma from storage. It may take time for your mattress to attain its full size once the springs have settled to the correct position. This is due to the mattress being upright during transit. Settlement of fillings and indentations caused by body weight compressing the fillings are natural and not considered defects. This can be minimised by regular rotating (unless yours is a dual tension mattress).
