The Meriden Tub Chair is our standard 'bucket' chair design and is perfect for adding extra seating into any room of your home. The chair has a solid, hard wooden frame that is foam covered for comfort. The chair is upholstered in a durable and easy to maintain faux leather covering and supplied with sets of both light and dark wooden legs to allow you to customise the final appearance

I’m a big fan of this grey tub chair for its clean lines, compact footprint and soft faux-leather finish. Its neutral tone and simple silhouette sit well in contemporary, Scandi or industrial-inspired spaces, and the curved back adds just enough support for a quick read or coffee break.
For styling, add a textured cushion or small sheepskin to introduce warmth, then position the chair beside a slimline floor lamp and compact side table to create a cosy reading nook. It also works nicely as extra seating in an open-plan kitchen or under a gallery wall in an entrance hall.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
