I’m a fan of the Seaford shelf because its slim black metal frame and staggered oak shelves give plenty of room for books, plants or display pieces without looking bulky. It suits industrial, Scandinavian or modern farmhouse interiors, and the wide format makes it ideal as a room divider or against a living-room wall.
For a balanced look, mix upright books with horizontal stacks, slot in small potted plants or sculptural objects on alternating levels, and tuck woven baskets on the lower shelves to conceal less-attractive items. Keeping a consistent colour palette in your accessories will help the tiered design feel cohesive rather than cluttered.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
