Description
Referencing an archive document, Fringed Tulip Toile is a distressed batik style print transformed into decadently sumptuous bedding. Double-headed parrot tulips and roses appear in weathered form in this colourway of cobalt blue and beige. Aged yet still beautiful, antiqued yet grandiose. This design mimics the technique of extract printing, creating a lightened, almost bleached effect in the printed design. In the duvet, an oversized theatrical Oxford edge exaggerates the grandeur of this bedding. Made from comforting, 250 thread count BCI cotton sateen, this duvet cover set is complemented by a plain, cobalt blue reverse and matching, Oxford edge pillowcases, featuring the design all over and plain reverse. Sold as a complete set with Square Oxford pillowcases sold separately in pairs. John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
