Description
This rustic, country style Julian Bowen Rufford Dining Table is an understated and traditional piece which will look great in a contemporary kitchen diner. The table is beautifully crafted from tropical hardwood with a natural lacquered finish, and stands strong on thin yet durable legs, and can also be extended easily using the butterfly extension when hosting dinner parties with loved ones.

I’m a fan of the Rufford table for its solid oak top and slim, tapered legs - it’s sturdy yet light in appearance. It sits comfortably in Scandi-inspired or modern country schemes, and the warm wood tone works just as well against pale walls or deeper accent colours.
To style it, try a simple linen runner and a mix of ceramic plates in muted greens or greys for an easy, lived-in look. Pair with a bench at one side and a couple of slender beech or painted timber chairs at the ends to add visual interest. A low, leafy centrepiece or a trio of glass vases keeps the table feeling open and practical for everyday use.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
