I’m a fan of this Willington bench for its solid hardwood build and timeless slatted design, which feels equally at home in a country kitchen, a covered patio or a minimalist hallway. The warm brown finish adds a natural touch without overwhelming other décor, and the armrests give it a more polished look than a simple garden seat. For styling, layer on slim, neutral cushions or a pair of patterned toss pillows to boost comfort and introduce a pop of colour. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
