Description

Introducing the Romolo Fabric Loveseat Sofa, where comfort meets sophistication. Featuring a graceful curvaceous silhouette and minimalist design, its neutral fabric adds a touch of timeless elegance to any space. Slim dark wooden legs provide both style and stability. The seat and back cushions, filled with high-density foam and layered fibre, offer the perfect blend of support and plush comfort. Ideal for those seeking understated luxury, this sofa is the perfect addition to your living room.

Our Stylist Says

I love this sofa for its clean, versatile design and neutral fabric, making it a flexible choice for a wide range of interiors. It works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist spaces, where its simple silhouette can be complemented with bold cushions or textured throws for added interest. For more relaxed schemes, layer it with cosy textiles and patterned cushions to create a welcoming feel. Practical styling tips include using contrasting cushions to add colour or pattern, and placing a statement coffee table in front to anchor the room. Its neutral tone makes it easy to update with accessories over time, ensuring it remains a stylish focal point in the living space.

About Barker and Stonehouse

Founded in 1946, Barker and Stonehouse offer a diverse range of stylish and timeless pieces. From contemporary to traditional designs, Barker and Stonehouse brings sophistication and comfort to every room.

A Remarkable Journey

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.

Their fast growth was fueled not only by their flair for business but also by their dedication to innovation. The business transformed over the years, adapting to the changing landscapes of retail, all while preserving its charm and values. By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.

Sustainability at the Forefront

From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.

Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.

Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.

Innovative Spaces and Expanding Horizons

Over the decades, Barker and Stonehouse didn't just expand in number, but in the quality and innovation of their spaces. From opening their iconic store in Battersea, London, which beautifully preserved the characteristics of an old candle factory, to their latest state-of-the-art Gateshead store in 2023, every location tells a story.

They have also ventured into digital realms, ensuring a vast online presence and offering a wide range of products to customers all over the UK. Their partnerships, like the one with Fenwick in 2021, illustrate their adaptability and constant quest to reach new audiences.
