Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of this grey corner ladder shelf because it makes the most of awkward angles without looking fussy, and its slim frame suits both minimalist and Scandi‐inspired schemes. The soft grey finish is neutral enough to blend with bold accent walls or pair with natural timber and rattan accessories for a layered look. Styling tip: alternate books laid flat with a sprig of greenery or a ceramic ornament, then leave at least one shelf partly clear to avoid visual clutter. Group objects in odd numbers, vary heights and textures - think woven baskets on the lower tier for everyday bits, mid-level photo frames and candles, and perhaps a small plant at the top.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
