Gorgeous pink lighting styles for lighter colour schemes with the Marie Funky 3 Light Chandelier. This chandelier is ideal for children's rooms and features crystal effect droplets and beading for a decorative look. With a height adjustable chain, this chandelier is perfect for low ceilings.

Our Stylist Says

I love the quirky charm of this pink chandelier, making it a playful focal point in both children’s rooms and contemporary spaces that want a pop of colour. It works well in eclectic interiors or modern boho styles, where its vibrant hue can be paired with contrasting textures and patterns. Practical styling tips include keeping surrounding furnishings neutral to let the chandelier stand out, or matching other pink accents for a cohesive look. Additionally, ensure the bulbs used complement the playful character - warm whites tend to soften its effect, creating a cosy yet fun atmosphere. This piece is especially effective in rooms where you want a touch of whimsy without overwhelming the overall design.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
