Description

Traditionally designed with grey fabric upholstery and classic button detailing, this Rise and Recline Dual Motor Chair is great for adding extra comfort to your living area. This armchair is filled with pocket sprung foam and fibre for a wonderfully plump and cushioned feel and its helpful rise and recline function assists in standing, making it an exceptionally handy chair for those who struggle with this. Perfect for accessorising with a colourful cushion, this large, high-backed armchair also features a raising footrest and will make a fantastic addition to your living room seating.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this grey recliner for its blend of comfort and clean lines - the dual-motor lift and recline function makes it as practical as it is inviting. The soft boucle-style upholstery and subtle button-tufting give enough texture to stand on its own, yet the neutral shade lets you layer in bolder accessories without clashing. Styling tips: position it in a snug reading corner beside a slim metal side table and an arching floor lamp for task light. Add a woollen throw in a contrasting hue and a lumbar cushion in a natural fibre to soften the look. It works equally well in modern, Scandi or transitional schemes, especially when paired with pale woods and muted accent colours.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
