Description

The Raza gold printed coffee table is a statement design piece. Sat on an iron legged slender frame, the design on the metal top is hand painted with an acidic solution to give it a luxe, etched effect. A sophisticated design, the etched print is designed in our in-house studio and will make a striking addition to a living room.

Our Stylist Says

This coffee table is a sleek choice, especially for modern or contemporary interiors. The black and gold colour scheme allows it to serve as a statement piece without overwhelming the space. I love how the bold gold print on the top adds a touch of luxury and sophistication. It works well in minimalist settings when paired with neutral tones, or as a glamorous focal point in more eclectic rooms. For styling, consider layering with a combination of textured trays, vases, or a stack of books to create visual interest. Its sturdy design makes it practical for everyday use, and the understated frame allows other design elements to stand out around it. Overall, it’s a versatile piece that can add a touch of elegance to both social and relaxed spaces.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
