Description

Add organic texture to your lighting with the Quinn Raffia Easyfit Shade in Natural, designed to bring a relaxed, earthy feel to any room. Its woven raffia construction creates a beautiful play of light and shadow, while the neutral tone complements a wide range of interior styles. Easy to fit without the need for an electrician, this natural shade is ideal for refreshing your pendant or ceiling light in minutes.

Our Stylist Says

The Quinn Paper Raffia Easy Fit Shade is a versatile choice that brings a warm, natural texture to a variety of interiors. I love its simple, clean design which pairs especially well with boho, coastal, or Scandinavian styles, where woven and organic materials are key. Practical styling tips include using it in living rooms or bedrooms to create a cosy, inviting atmosphere-paired with neutral or pastel colour schemes to enhance its earthy feel. It’s also a great option for spaces where you want a softer, ambient light, as it diffuses the light gently through the raffia material. Overall, it’s a charming choice for adding subtle texture and warmth to your ceiling lighting without overpowering the decor.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
