Description
Designed by Carlo Ballabio for Porada, this Atlante 5 Sideboard is crafted from canaletta walnut with and Calacatta Oro marble surface. Four hinged doors crafted from smoked glass open to a series of shelves. Dimmable LED lighting is concealed inside so you can illuminate the contents. The sideboard is topped with a beautifully veined sheet of Calacatta Oro marble. Defined by its white finish, this luxurious marble is often quarried in Italy.

I’m a big fan of the Atlante sideboard for its mix of warm walnut and crisp Calacatta Oro marble - it immediately lifts a living or dining space without feeling heavy. Its clean lines suit both contemporary and mid-century interiors, while the marble top adds a touch of luxury that pairs well with muted colour palettes or bolder accent hues.
For styling, keep the top clutter-free: try a slim tray to corral a couple of sculptural candles and a small vase of seasonal blooms. Inside, use discreet dividers or baskets to organise table linens and servingware. The smoked glass doors also allow you to showcase glassware or decorative pieces without everything being on display.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
