Description
Designed by Carlo Ballabio for Porada, this Atlante 3 Sideboard is crafted from canaletta walnut with an Emperador dark marble surface. Two hinged doors open to a series of shelves crafted from smoked glass, whilst three soft-close drawers provide additional storage. The sideboard is topped with a beautifully veined sheet of Emperador marble. Defined by its brown finish, this luxurious marble is often quarried in Turkey and Spain.

I’m a big fan of the Atlante sideboard for its slick balance of warm walnut and deep Emperador marble - it brings just the right mix of natural richness and clean modern lines. It works equally well in a contemporary living room, a pared-back dining area or even a minimalist hallway. For styling, keep the top clutter-free: a sculptural vase, a low bowl for keys or coasters and a simple table lamp will let the materials sing. Inside, use it to hide dinnerware or media kit and corral board games. It pairs beautifully with soft greys, muted greens or even a dash of matte black metal accessories.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
