Our Stylist Says
This barstool is a great choice for creating a modern, streamlined look in a kitchen or bar area. The open back design offers a contemporary aesthetic while remaining comfortable and easy to maintain. Its light grey upholstery makes it versatile, perfect for both neutral schemes and adding subtle contrast in more colourful interiors. I’d recommend pairing it with a minimalist or Scandinavian-inspired space, where its sleek shape can be fully appreciated. For a practical styling tip, consider placing the stools around a breakfast bar or island with a light wood or monochrome worktop to keep the overall look fresh and uncluttered. These stools are a smart, stylish addition that fit well in casual dining or social spaces.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
