The black Phare LED Table Lamp was cleverly designed by Stanislaw Czarnocki for the prestigious lighting manufacturer Menu. Originally destined for apartment No.50 at Le Corbusier's 'Cité Radieuse' in Marseille, the lamp is designed around its user with the goal of enhancing their everyday life. The sculptural form can be used without a power outlet and even doubles as a versatile design piece when not in use. Crafted from black powder-coated aluminium with an opaque polycarbonate diffuser and integrated LED bulbs, the lamp is an atmospheric addition to gardens, living spaces and dining rooms alike. Integrated LED bulb. Please note: Whilst the Phare Lamp is suited to outside use, it is not waterproof and must not be used in damp conditions and rain.
I love this lamp because of its sleek, contemporary silhouette and versatile monochrome palette. It works particularly well in modern and minimal interiors, where its clean lines can really stand out, but it also pairs nicely with eclectic or Scandinavian styles. For styling tips, try placing it on a side table or desk to add a sculptural element without cluttering the space. Its understated black finish makes it an easy fit in monochrome schemes, while the white globe provides a soft contrast in more colour-rich interiors. Practical tip: let the lamp’s simplicity be the focal point - it’s perfect to balance more decorative surrounding elements or to serve as a striking standalone piece.
