I’d call this the Torrington two-seater, and what really sells it for me is that rich petrol-velvet seat paired with slim black legs - it feels both luxe and pared-back. It sits equally well in a modern townhouse living room or a cosy, contemporary flat, and its compact proportions make it ideal for smaller spaces without sacrificing comfort.
To style, layer in cushions in natural linens or boucle for textural contrast, and introduce metallic accents - think a slim brass lamp or side table - to pick up on the velvet’s subtle sheen. A light-toned rug beneath will lift the whole look, while a sculptural floor plant keeps things fresh and balanced.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
