Description
A dynamic-looking light by Copenhagen-born Poul Henningsen, the medium PH Artichoke Pendant Light in a brushed stainless steel finish was originally designed in 1958 and has since been crafted by Denmark's prestigious lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen. Originally designed for the Langelinie Pavillonen restaurant in Copenhagen, the instantly recognisable pendant features 72 brushed stainless steel leaves precisely positioned across 12 rows to offer completely glare-free glow throughout any space. Crafted largely by hand at Louis Poulsen's workshop in Denmark, the pendant is completed with a chrome-plated laser-cut steel frame, suspended from chrome-plated spun aluminium cables and is finished with a coordinating ceiling rose. Forming a lifelong collaboration with Louis Poulsen in 1925, Poul Henningsen is renowned across the globe for his innovative and radical approach to all his creative practices. A pioneer of Danish design, Henningsen also turned his hand to journalism and architecture throughout his career. Require: 1 x Max 60W E27 bulb (not included).
