I’m a fan of this stone-top TV unit for its mix of smooth grey paint and natural stone, which gives a subtle textural contrast without overpowering a room. It suits Scandi-inspired, coastal or modern minimal schemes - think pale walls, layered neutrals and soft timber accents - and its single drawer plus open shelf make it easy to hide cables and stash remotes. To style, add a low vase of foliage or sculptural object on one side of the stone inset and balance with a slim table lamp; inside the shelf, use a woven basket to keep controllers and magazines out of sight.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
