Price History

Description

Hand-woven by rug artisans in India, the Pebble Border Wool Rug pairs a bobbled-effect with semi-plain border detailing, for a subtle and stylish finish to your flooring. In 70% wool the Pebble Border Wool rug is naturally sound and warmth insulating, perfect for those darker months. Try this design in a bedroom or living room for under-foot comfort. Rug pictured is 160cm x 230cm. This is a hand-made flatweave rug. When opening, re-roll your rug pile out and leave in a warm room for 24 hours before putting in place, this will help to reduce wrinkles and curling from packing. Do not pull any loose threads, please cut them carefully with scissors to remove. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as this may cause fading of the colour. Turn your rug regularly to ensure even wear and to reduce pressure marks from furniture. Wool fibres may shed when new and during use, this is a characteristic of this product and is not a defect and should reduce with normal use and regular vacuuming. Before using any cleaning products on your rug, test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it does not affect the colour. Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean dry white cloth - do not rub as this may stain the fibres. Vacuum your rug regularly to remove everyday dirt, we recommend the use of a suction type vacuum cleaner as a rotating vacuum brush can cause damage to the pile surface. We recommend the use of an anti-slip mat beneath your rug to prevent it from slipping and sliding out of place. Latex is used on the back of this rug. Please do not leave babies or young children unsupervised on this rug.

Our Stylist Says

The pebble wool border rug in grey is a versatile piece that adds a touch of understated sophistication to any living space. I love how its neutral tones effortlessly complement both contemporary and transitional interiors, making it easy to layer with different colour schemes and textures. It works particularly well in cosy living rooms and bedrooms, providing a soft, tactile foundation underfoot. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral or muted-toned furniture to enhance its subtle elegance, or layering with patterned cushions or throws for a more eclectic look. Its durable wool construction also means it’s a practical choice for high-traffic areas, offering both comfort and longevity.
