Description
Designed by Øivind Slaatto for Louis Poulsen, the medium Patera Pendant Light in a white finish was inspired by the Fibonacci sequence, a pattern that appears in nature as a spiral. Presented as a glowing sphere formed from small diamond-shaped cells arranged in a pattern reminiscent of sunflowers and pinecones, the pendant casts a subtle, diffused light through the glowing shapes. Crafted from matte white plastic, the pendant also features matte chromed-brass accents for a refined finish. A show-stopping design, the sculptural pendant looks particularly striking when hung in a cluster from a high ceiling as a contemporary take on a chandelier. Renowned for his simple and poetic solutions to design, Øivind Slaatto's creations are each infused with a unique sense of harmony that stems from his love of music.
