Description

Made from powder-coated steel, the Parc set of 2 cobalt blue metal folding chairs is a timeless design made from powder-coated steel. Exclusive to Habitat and also available in coral and yellow, the chairs fold completely flat when not in use and are part of our best-selling Parc range of outdoor tables and chairs.

Our Stylist Says

I love these blue metal folding chairs for their versatility and vibrant colour. They work particularly well in contemporary or industrial interiors, adding a pop of colour without overwhelming the space. Their compact, collapsible design makes them ideal for both casual dining areas and practical storage solutions, especially in smaller kitchens or sunrooms. For styling, consider pairing them with a rustic wooden table or a sleek glass surface to create a balanced aesthetic. Adding cushions or seat pads can also soften the look and increase comfort, making them perfect for informal meals or outdoor dining setups.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
