Description

Light up your dining room with the stunning Paladina Oval Diner Pendant. Finished in chrome, this ceiling fitting is detailed in an assortment of crystal effect prisms that gorgeously cascade – shining and shimmering as they catch the warm glow of light from within. The pendant bar can be styled gorgeously over a dining table, kitchen island or breakfast bar for an elevated sophistication and elegance within your rooms while providing the space with a proficient illumination.

Our Stylist Says

I love this pendant for its sleek, modern silhouette and the way it enhances contemporary or minimalist interiors. The chrome finish lends a crisp, reflective quality that pairs well with neutral palettes, while the crystal detailing adds a touch of glamour - perfect for making a statement over dining tables or kitchen islands. Practical styling tips include keeping surrounding decor simple to let the pendant stand out, and installing it at a height that provides functional illumination without overwhelming the space. It works particularly well in spaces aiming for a luxurious yet understated vibe, effortlessly bridging style and practicality.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
