I’m a fan of this tall oak bookcase for its clean, Scandi-inspired lines and the smart mix of open shelving with rattan-front cupboards to hide away less attractive bits. It sits just as well in a modern minimalist living room as it does in a relaxed, boho-leaning home office or hallway. To style it, mix vertical stacks of books with horizontal ones, leave breathing space between objects, and introduce a touch of greenery on alternating shelves. The lower cabinet is perfect for stashing paperwork or media, while the black metal base adds a subtle industrial edge.
