Description

Bold and sophisticated styling for your lounge with the Oxford Chenille Cushion in Navy makes a striking statement in any room, and its deep navy tone adds a sense of depth and drama to your styling. The chenille fabric feels soft and luxurious, while the Oxford edge provides a clean, structured finish. This versatile 45cm square cushion works beautifully with both classic and contemporary interiors.

Our Stylist Says

The Oxford Chenille Cushion in navy is a great choice for adding texture and depth to a range of interiors. I love its rich, versatile colour which pairs well with both neutral tones and more vibrant palettes. Its soft chenille fabric offers a cosy feel, making it perfect for modern or classic spaces that aim for a welcoming vibe. For styling, try layering it with other cushions in complementary shades or textures to create an inviting, layered look. It works particularly well on sofas, armchairs, or even bed linens, providing a sophisticated touch without overwhelming the overall decor.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
