Inspired by science fiction and astronomy, German designer Sebastian Summa created his ORG lamp like a shooting star. This destructured composition of glass and gold metal tubes offers a mix of classic elegance and originality. A true chameleon with a hybrid aesthetic, ORG blends in with all styles of decor, moving with ease from industrial, rough spaces to sophisticated settings. Its large dimensions make it a leading architectural element. A true luminous rod, the ORG pendant provides strong decorative value. Its refined yet quirky look will modernise any interior. Reminiscent of neon tubes, the ORG wall lamp forms an asymmetrical cluster of opaline glass tubes, adorned with gilded metal end caps. The minimalist white tubes are illuminated along their entire length. The light emitted is soft, warm and glare-free. Designer Sebastian Summa works in his studio in East Berlin. He’s a hands-on man who started his career as a blacksmith, and served as an apprentice in a metalworking factory before going to university. In his timeless workshop with its basic appearance, this sensitive man creates surprisingly delicate objects.
The ORG vertical small pendant is a sleek, contemporary piece that works beautifully in minimalist and modern interiors. I love its clean lines and subtle use of glass and gold accents, which add a touch of sophistication without overwhelming the space. It’s particularly effective in spaces with high ceilings, where its H 130 cm height can create a striking vertical statement. Practical styling tips include hanging it above a dining table or in an entryway to add visual interest, while pairing it with other understated fixtures to keep the look cohesive. Its understated elegance makes it a versatile choice for both residential and commercial spaces looking for a sophisticated lighting solution.
